SAGIAN™ Hotels provide plate and tip storage and ambient incubation for your automated assay system.The Hotels can be mounted directly onto the robotic workbench and each can be configured by the user to supply microplates, filter plates,deep-well plates, reservoirs or tip boxes to the system.The 18-Hotel Stations holds 18 lidded microplates; 8-Hotel Stations accommodate eight deep-well plates or eight 250 µL tip boxes; and the 4-Hotel Stations can hold four 1,000 µL tip boxes. A two-piece, interlocking base has been incorporated to allow for simple setup, removal and transportation of hotels between laboratories and specialized incubation chambers. When large, unattended capacity is desired, a hotel carousel is a space-saving option. The SAGIAN™ Carousel allows true random access for up to ten hotels containing as many as 18 standard microplates.The carousel rotates, enabling any one of the ten hotels in the structure to be accessed by the robotic arm. The unit is controlled with an RS-232 serial interface. As with all SAGIAN™ Stations, hotels are operated automatically through the host computer using SAMI® NT scheduling software.
