The SAGIAN™ Shaker Station provides a reliable microplate shaker for your automated robotic laboratory system. Configured with six plate locations, it provides ample space for any assay requiring extended shake times. With a circular orbit of 1/8 in. and solid-state speed control, the vortexing motion of this unit thoroughly mixes each microplate well. The SAGIAN™ Shaker is operated automatically through the host computer's use of the SAMI® NT (SAGIAN™ Automated Methods Interface) scheduling software. The SAMI® NT processing schedule alerts the system to turn the plate shaker on and off at the appropriate time for the placement/retrieval of plates. The SAGIAN™ Shaker is designed to provide shaking motion from gentle rotation to vigorous agitation, from 40 to 1,100 rpm.
