HemosIL* RecombiPlasTin 2G, 8 mL

Intended use: For the quantitative determination in human citrated plasma of Prothrombin Time on IL Coagulation and ELECTRA systems and Fibrinogen on IL Coagulation systems only. The product is used for the evaluation of the extrinsic coagulation pathway and the monitoring of Oral Anticoagulant Therapy (OAT).

Principle: Contains recombinant human tissue factor relipidated in a synthetic phospholipid blend. RecombiPlasTin 2G Diluent is an aqueous solution containing calcium chloride and preservative.

Sensitivity: ISI approximately 1.0

Standardization: The ISI value is obtained using the WHO-recommended protocol on every lot of reagent and is instrument specific.

Vials and volumes:

• RecombiPlasTin 2G (RTF): 5 x 8 mL vials of lyophilized recombinant human tissue factor, synthetic phospholipids with stabilizers, preservative and buffer.
• RecombiPlasTin 2G Diluent (RTF Diluent): 5 x 8 mL vials of an aqueous solution of calcium chloride, polybrene and a preservative.
