Intended use: For the detection of Lupus Anticoagulants (LA) in human citrated plasma on IL Coagulation systems.
Principle: Silica Clotting Time (SCT) contains both SCT Screen and SCT Confirm reagents. SCT Screen is poor in phospholipid, making it sensitive to LA. The additional amount of phospholipid in SCT Confirm neutralizes LA to produce shorter clotting times.
