Optima™ L-80 XP Preparative Ultracentrifuge, 50 Hz, 220-240 VAC

Part Number: 392049

From the world leader in centrifugation comes the most intelligent ultracentrifuge system ever.

Whether your research involves proteomics, cytomics or genomics, our new Optima™ L-XP Series ultracentrifuge is designed to play a key role in the discovery process. Thanks to a sophisticated on-board computer, enhanced firmware, powerful Optima eXPert™ software and an easy-to-use touch screen, Optima L-XP delivers superior functionality, optimized user efficiencies, far greater capabilities and faster turnarounds than any other ultracentrifuge. In today's rapidly-changing discovery world, the Optima L-XP is engineered to put you on the inside track to tomorrow's exciting new breakthroughs.

The Optima L-XP Series are a new class of enhanced preparative ultracentrifuge instruments, rotors, tubes, accessories, and software, designed, manufactured and tested as "systems" from the inside and out to assure the highest quality separation in the shortest possible time, safely and reliably. These systems feature an air-cooled, vacuum-encased, frequency-controlled, imbalance-tolerant drive for fast and easy visual balancing of tubes, direct rotor inertia speed check, a 10-year drive warranty, and thermoelectric temperature control that uses no chlorofluorocarbons.

Efficiency, versatility, and environmental safety are the hallmarks of the Optima L-80 XP Ultracentrifuge from BeckmanCoulter. With Beckman Coulter’s innovative Optima centrifugation technology, the L-80 XP is capable of generating 602,000 x g at speeds of up to 80,000 rpm.The L-80 XP, along with a broad range of rotors, tubes, and supplies shortens run times for a wide range of applications. The L-80 XP offers the reliability of a vacuum-encased induction drive,Optima eXPert™ software, and environmentally-friendly cooling systems that eliminate the need for CFCs. And the L-80 XP’s special design eliminates the need for chlorofluorocarbons or other ozone-depleting coolants for drive and chamber cooling. CE/CSA/NRTL.
