Seal & Sample Aluminum Foil Lids (case of 100)

Biomek Seal & Sample Aluminum Foil Lids* provide a unique solution for multiwell plate sealing. Made of special aluminum foil, cut from rolls of 3M tape #439 for a thickness of 0.0031 in., with a bioinert adhesive backing, Seal & Sample plate lids are provided in packages of 100 sheets presized for titer-plate sealing including multiwell, Deep-Well and Square-Well Titer Plates. Plates remain sealed at temperature extremes from -50°C to +130°C but are not compatible with DMSO.

These foil lids are designed to be easily punctured by automated or manually-operated pipette tips to remove sample material from plate wells. This feature eliminates the potential for aerosols and cross-contamination that can result when removing other types of plate-sealing lids. A rubber roller is also available for easy lid placement and to ensure complete plate sealing.
