Biomek® Software

Intuitive software for programming and running all Biomek instruments.

The Biomek System Software is an easy-to-use software program that directs all instrument, ALP (Automated Labware Positioner), and integrated accessory functions. The software provides the ability to simply and quickly create a method, review it, and then run it. It includes automatic error checking with suggestions for corrections and the ability to write and preview the method remotely (from your desktop) using the included 3-D Biomek Simulator.

Tip loading, as an example, must be done for a transfer to be accomplished. The User will simply configure the deck with the proper tips and the system will load and unload tips when needed to perform the transfer. There is no need for explicit control of tip loading and unloading. Similarly, by educating the system on the volume of liquid in the labware, the level of that liquid can be tracked and used throughout the method.
