Biomek® 3000 Gripper Tool Kit for Biomek® 3000

Includes Gripper Tool, Gripper Tool Rack, and spare Gripper Pads. For customers who have separately purchased the Disposal Option (P/N 609751) or who do not intend to use that option.

The Gripper Tool for the Biomek 3000 is used to move labware and devices around the Biomek worksurface. The Gripper makes possible the full automation of plasmid DNA purification with the 96-Plasmid Purification Kit, the 96-Filtration System, and the Vacuum Valve Unit on the Biomek 3000. In the purification procedure, the Gripper is used to move plates onto, off of, into, and out of the 96-Filtration vacuum manifold. The Gripper Tool may also be used to load and unload a Biomek Plate Reader mounted on the left side module of the Biomek 3000, and can be programmed with Biomek Software to stack plates on the Biomek worksurface.
