Qualifications
The Scientific Development Program is open to students in Master's and PhD programs in the sciences, including but not limited to:
-  Immunology
-  Biology
-  Chemistry
-  Molecular Biology
Students will be required to provide two letters of recommendation from professors, fellow researchers, managers, etc. prior to the interview process.
Program Overview
The Scientific Development Program is a unique program that accelerates career development for scientists within Beckman Coulter, Inc.  Over the course of the one-year program, you will complete three rotations, each lasting four-months. Through these rotations, you will be exposed to many facets of the business, multiple technologies, and different cultures which will allow you to build the skills essential to growing your career. You will choose the department and project for each rotation. Two rotations will be in the Research and Development Center and one rotation will be a department outside Research and Development such as: Quality, Marketing, Business Development, Regluatory Affairs, etc.
Students will be required to provide two letterw of recommendation from professors, fellow researchers, managers, etc. prior to the interview process.
Opportunity to Travel
During this one-year rotational program, you will be required to work at a minimum of two of the following Beckman Coulter, Inc. sites:
-  Chaska, MN
-  Beverly, MA
-  Orange County, CA
All housing, travel, moving and vehicle costs are covered during this one-year program.
Placement
At the end of this one-year rotational program, the participants will choose their position based on availability and business need.
