Fast Response with Low-Ionic Strength Samples

Beckman Coulter STAR electrodes have been specially designed using a unique glass formula to provide rapid response for samples with low ionic strength and when sample temperatures differ significantly.

The following performance specifications will be met:

Response Time: 25ºC to 75ºC in pH 4 buffer; stable to ± 0.02 pH in less than 30 seconds. With pH 3 to pH 7 buffer at constant temperature; stable to ± 0.01 pH in less than 30 seconds
Accuracy: Relative to NIST certified buffers; ± 0.01 pH
Slope: 97 to 100%
Isothermal Point: 7.0 pH
Stability: ± 0.002 pH over 24 hours

 

STAR Combination Electrodes for Low-Ionic Strength Samples 

Standard-length, refillable electrodes for measurements of samples with low ionic strength. STAR electrodes also provide a quick response to changing temperature. Available in either rugged epoxy body to protect the bulb or easy-to-clean glass body for use with all solvents.
