Related Product Information

The nanoVette submicroliter measurement cell allows your Beckman Coulter spectrophotometer to work with sample sizes as small as 0.7 µL. Perfect for DNA and Protein applications where small sample size is critical, the nanoVette provides the additional advantage of not requiring dilution of the sample. Interchangeable 1 mm and 0.2 mm lids create a virtual dilution of 1:10 or 1:50, allowing the nanoVette to accept a wide range of concentration from 6 ng/µL to 5,000 ng/µL. The same size as a standard cuvette, the nanoVette easily fits into the spectrophotometer. The nanoVette can remain in place while samples are loaded and unloaded - or even recovered for future use. Cleaning the nanoVette can be done with only a cleanwipe and a lint-free swab. Removing the nanoVette is as simple as removing a standard cuvette, providing maximum flexibility with the spectrophotometer.

Beckman Coulter’s DU® 730 model for life science applications includes advanced tools for protein and nucleic acid analysis, including determination of dye incorporation percentage for microarrays and a set of DNA/Protein calculation and conversion tools. The Windows*-based DU 800 adds an advanced interface and additional tools for molecular biology, proteomics and enzyme kinetic studies. The nanoVette expands the application of both systems to include very low-volume samples.
