| Dust Tight and Waterproof Design
All Φ400 series handheld meters are IP67 rated, meaning
that they can be submerged to a depth of 1 meter for
30 minutes without any water incursion.
All handheld meters feature waterproof connectors,
even on the AC input, so that the meter is safe – even
if the protective rubber cap isn’t on, or if the meter
is used with non-waterproof electrodes.
The handheld meters even float if placed in water.
While the benchtop meters are not IP67, they still
offer meaningful protection from spills in the lab.
The silicone top surface protects from liquids and cleans
up easily, and the “bathtub” internal construction
allows the meter to sit in small amounts of water without
water incursion.
