Instrument Operations Training Available Online

Beckman Coulter’s Brea Training Center has launched Customer Operations Training online. This new feature allows the entire lab staff to take advantage of Beckman Coulter’s educational programs. Online education allows you, the customer, to learn independently on your schedule.

The new online operation training program will allow you to:

• Review material, as needed
• Use Beckman Coulter programs to expand your knowledge of our diagnostic systems
• Access the training at work and continue it at home (the ultimate solution to combat time restrictions in the lab) 
  
• Use the programs to obtain P.A.C.E.® (Professional Acknowledgement for Continuing Education) continuing education contact hours

E-Learning
E-learning modules are now available and designed to allow you to learn theories and concepts of instrument operations. The modules are currently available for our UniCel® DxC 600i, UniCel DxC 600/800 and Access® 2 product lines. Additional e-learning modules are in development. You may use the modules as an introduction or as a refresher. The e-learning modules can be accessed at www.clinicallabknowledge.com. Simply, use your e-mail address as your username and “lms” as your initial password. You’ll then be prompted to register and create a more secure password.

Webinars
Complimentary webinars will be offered on a regular basis in order to help you expand your knowledge of Beckman Coulter systems. Webinars will cover topics of interest on our chemistry, immunoassay, integrated systems and lab automation products. Training sessions will be accessible via the web, and you’ll even be able to submit questions for the instructor. The Webinars will be available beginning in August of 2009.
