Newport Tables on Wheels

Printer Friendly

Beckman Coulter Europe has come up with a novel solution for Core System customers who need to swap devices between systems: Newport optical tables on wheels! Our engineers have designed a wheel assembly for the Newport tables, shown in Figure A. This solution enables you to temporarily move one or more pieces of laboratory equipment in juxtaposition to a workstation as needed for a particular set of experiments (Figure B). Tables are moved into position and connect at pre-taught locations. Plates can then be moved on and off the temporary table using the ORCAŽ or the BRT (Robotic Transport) pick and place robots.

Core System users who seek additional flexibility in their placement of devices can benefit from this option. This mobile solution is available worldwide as an integrated solution and carries a CE mark. Turn-around time is dependent on the overall project load and customer need.
