Daniel Nichita, MD, MS.

Daniel Nichita, MD, MS is Senior Product Marketing Manager at Beckman Coulter. As product manager of the BARDA Sepsis Program, Dr. Nichita is passionate about developing innovative solutions to help detect sepsis earlier using AI technology. Before joining Beckman Coulter, Dr. Nichita developed the Sepsis Clinical Guide app, a popular mobile app for delivering point of care sepsis management information to healthcare professionals, a journey that eventually led to a collaboration with Beckman Coulter and him joining the company to work on this exciting AI project. He is convinced that AI tools will reshape medicine and will one day make sepsis misdiagnosis a thing of the past.

Dr. Nichita is the president of ESCAVO, creator of the Sepsis Clinical Guide app. Prior to his role there, he served as the Senior Medical Editor at Borm Bruckmeier Publishing, and earlier in his career, he was the Medical Director at Market Monitors/cvPipeline.

Nichita holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He earned his Medical Degree from New York Medical College.
