KEVIN O’REILLY

PRESIDENT, BECKMAN COULTER DIAGNOSTICS

Kevin O’Reilly was appointed president of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in 2023. He is driven by a passion for helping laboratories achieve excellence in their operations and empowering doctors with critical laboratory test results that change and save the lives of patients. His leadership is focused on growing the company’s business and rallying associates to win together in support of Beckman Coulter’s customers and mission to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.

Kevin brings more than 30 years of experience accelerating and delivering innovation on a global scale within the healthcare industry. Before his current position, Kevin served as president of Radiation Oncology Solutions at Varian Medical Systems, where he was responsible for more than $3 billion in revenue and 6,500 associates worldwide. Under his leadership, the company’s market share grew across all regions and achieved world-class customer satisfaction.

Kevin holds an Honors diploma from the Technical University of Ireland and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Trinity College.

MARIANNE OVESEN

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL OPERATIONS
Marianne joined Beckman Coulter as senior vice president of global operations in 2019. Previously, Marianne served as Vice President of Operations with Radiometer. She joined Radioemeter in 2008 as QA Manager and progressed to Director of QA before taking on the Operations role.

Marianne holds a Masters degree in Food Science from the University of Copenhagen.

NOREEN GALVIN

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, QUALITY, REGULATORY CLINICAL AFFAIRS
Noreen Galvin is SVP, Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. She joined Beckman Coulter in 1995 and has held roles in various functions including R&D, European commercial operations, service, strategic marketing, product management and technical support. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry and Ph.D. in Microbiology, both from University College Dublin, Ireland.

KATHLEEN ORLAND

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER, CLINICAL CHEMISTRY AND IMMUNOASSAY
Kathleen currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Clinical Chemistry Immunoassay (CCIA) Business Unit, leading product strategy and new product development programs across eight global sites. Kathleen began her career journey at Beckman Coulter in 2005 as a Senior Product Manager for Immunoassay. Since then, Kathleen has contributed to our success in a variety of roles, including Director, Immunoassay Product Management; VP, Clinical Chemistry Immunoassay Product Management; VP, Danaher Business System and Global Marketing. Kathleen was instrumental in helping us define our customer value proposition and build launch excellence capability. Kathleen’s extensive industry knowledge and DBS expertise combined with her passion for innovation and solving customer problems drives the CCIA team meet their strategic goals.

Kathleen has a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned her Medical Technologist MT (ASCP) from NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Illinois.

CHRIS HAGEN

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER, CORE LAB SPECIALTY PRODUCTS

Chris Hagen serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Core Lab Specialty Products at Beckman Coulter. In this role, he oversees the Hematology, Urinalysis, Automation, and Clinical Informatics Business Units, driving the strategic vision and innovation roadmap for sustained growth.

Throughout his tenure with Beckman Coulter, Chris has held key leadership positions, including Vice President & General Manager for North America, Vice President of Global Marketing, and Vice President of Global Sales Enablement.

Prior to joining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Chris led the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region for Hospira Infusion Systems, a subsidiary of Pfizer. His journey includes pivotal roles in marketing and finance at Hospira and Abbott.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration with a major in Finance from West Virginia University.

ZIVJENA VUCETIC, M.D., Ph.D.

CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER AND SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MEDICAL & SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS
Dr. Vucetic drives the medical affairs strategy and manages the Medical & Scientific Affairs team. She joined Beckman Coulter in 2022 and brings more than 15 years of experience guiding clinical development, clinical operations, and real-world evidence and scientific communication to achieve commercialization and operational excellence.

Before joining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Dr. Vucetic served as Senior Vice President, Clinical Affairs for Karius. She has held numerous leadership roles at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics and Fujirebio.

Dr. Vucetic earned her medical degree from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia, a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Temple University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

TOM NEUFELDER

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Tom Neufelder leads Beckman Coulter’s technology vision, strategy, and plans for growth, including monitoring technology trends, identifying opportunities to drive technological advancement, and sharing best practices across business units.

Prior to joining Beckman Coulter in 2021, Tom served as Chief Technology Officer for MaxQ AI which develops artificial intelligence and machine learning applications for detection of intracranial hemorrhage. Tom has held numerous senior executive positions at various companies including Philips Healthcare and GE Healthcare. He brings more than 35 years of experience in engineering and product development to his role at Beckman Coulter.

Tom holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

SAID HADDAD

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS, DEVELOPED MARKETS

Said leads commercial operations teams across North America, Latin America and Europe.

In his most recent role, Said was Senior Vice President, High Growth Markets. Said led the team to achieve new records in double-digit growth and margin expansion during his tenure. Before joining Beckman Coulter in 2021, Said spent more than 20 years with Johnson & Johnson’s medical device sector in various commercial and upstream leadership roles. 

Said earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Biology from American University of Beirut and a Master of Business Administration from American University, Washington D.C.

JAMIE PHARES

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS, HIGH GROWTH MARKETS

Jamie Phares leads direct and distributed teams of sales and support professionals located across our high-growth market region.  

Before joining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in 2023, Jamie spent nearly two decades with Johnson & Johnson’s medical device and pharmaceutical divisions. In her most recent role, Jamie served as Managing Director and Vice President at Janssen Pharmaceuticals GCC, where she was credited with accelerating access to innovation, advancing external partnerships and improving profitability. 

Jamie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. 

MICKEY BLANKS

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES & COMMUNICATIONS
Mickey joined Beckman Coulter in 2017 from the Mosaic Company, where he led as Vice President, Human Resources for Commercial and Global Supply Chain. While at Mosaic, Mickey developed the global commercial sales incentive program and led talent and change management for the company’s five-year customer delivery strategy. Prior to Mosaic, he held HR positions of increasing responsibilities in various organizations, including IMI Cornelius, American Standard Brands and Unilever.

Mickey’s upbringing as the son of two U.S. military veterans influenced his “servant leadership” approach at work and in the community. He believes in the power of mentoring young professionals and volunteers with his wife and children for organizations like Habitat for Humanity and local nursing homes.

Mickey earned his Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Kean University, a Master of Arts in Industrial and Labor Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

TOM COFFMAN

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Tom Coffman oversees the company’s finance and information technology operations.

Tom joined Danaher Corporation in 2007, following a 13-year career at Ernst & Young. At Danaher, Tom has held various leadership roles at Danaher Corporate, Beckman Coulter and Phenomenex. He is a proven global finance leader with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that create sustainable competitive advantage and deliver results.

Tom joined Danaher Corporation in 2007, following a 13-year career at Ernst & Young. At Danaher, Tom has held various leadership roles at Danaher Corporate, Beckman Coulter and Phenomenex. He is a proven global finance leader with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that create sustainable competitive advantage and deliver results.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

TIMEA ZSIRAY

VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL MARKETING

Timea Zsiray is Vice President, Global Marketing. She joined Beckman Coulter in 2018 as Director, Strategy and Partnership, later serving as Senior Director, Global Product Marketing where she spearheaded new product commercialization and launch excellence.

Prior to joining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Timea led commercial marketing strategy and execution at ICU Medical, previously Hospira Infusion Systems, a Pfizer company. She also held various marketing positions of increasing responsibilities at GE Healthcare.

Timea earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Budapest Business School and an MBA from Marquette University.

VIBEKE HOLST-ANDERSEN 

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, LEGAL & GENERAL COUNSEL
Vibeke joined Beckman in June 2019 after more than six years as Radiometer VP Legal and General Counsel. She has also been the Diagnostics Platform Regional Counsel, Europe for three years and the Danaher Russia Counsel four years. Vibeke started her career with 8 years in private practice in Copenhagen, mainly focusing on litigation. Later she became in-house counsel and has experience as a GC in multi-national companies, among others within the diagnostic industry.

Vibeke is licensed to practice law in California and Denmark.
