Title: Advances in Blood-Based Biomarkers for Alzheimer's Disease: Integrating the ATN Framework Amidst Disease Heterogeneity
Date: Sunday, July 27, 2025
Time: 12:30 – 1:45 pm
Lunch will be served
Location: Frontenac Ballroom, Westin Harbour Castle
Keynote Speakers: Coming Soon
Symposium Highlights: The Amyloid, Tau, Neurodegeneration (ATN) biomarker framework is shifting our understanding of the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Concurrently, advances in blood-based biomarkers (BBBM) offer a promising and less invasive future to currently available PET and CSF testing. We will explore integration of BBBMs within the ATN diagnostic framework and address their potential and limitations in capturing the multifaceted nature of Alzheimer’s disease.

Title: Clinical Utility of the Plasma p-tau217/Aβ42 Ratio for Early Detection and Monitoring of Alzheimer’s Disease
Date: Tuesday, July 29, 2025
Time: 6:15 – 7:45 am
Breakfast will be served
Location: Frontenac Ballroom, Westin Harbour Castle
Keynote Speakers: Coming Soon
Symposium Highlights: Blood-based testing is minimally invasive, cost-effective, and scalable, making it ideal for use in primary care or memory clinics, but accuracy is paramount. Join us as we discuss the clinical utility of the plasma p-Tau217/Aβ42 ratio and how this powerful biomarker could be used for early detection and monitoring of Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
