Presentation Description:
MDW is a hematology parameter developed by Beckman Coulter that can help identify patients with sepsis or those at an increased risk of developing sepsis within the first 12 hours of hospital admission. In this study, we present the health economic impact of implementing MDW testing for early sepsis detection in the emergency department, using real-world data from a U.S. emergency department.
