Meet Our Leaders

Julie Sawyer Montgomery
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics

Julie became president of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in January 2020. Julie joined Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as senior vice president of customer operations for developed markets in 2017. Before joining Beckman Coulter, Julie served as president of Hospira Infusion Systems, a Pfizer company. Earlier roles at Hospira included U.S. regional president, vice president of global marketing and vice president of international sales. Prior to joining Hospira, Julie led marketing strategy for the cardiovascular division of Boston Scientific and served healthcare clients as a project leader for the Boston Consulting Group.

Julie holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Joe Repp

Joe is president of the microbiology business embedded operating company. Joe has been with Beckman Coulter Diagnostics for a decade after joining us from Becton Dickinson where his career spanned 14 years. At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Joe has held important leadership roles in the commercial and operations organizations including successfully leading our Microbiology business unit.

Joe has a management degree from Binghamton University and an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston.


Sarah Moore
Senior Vice President
Developed Markets

Sarah joined Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as vice president and general manager Americas in 2018. Sarah brings years of commercial experience from Siemens Healthineers where she held various positions of increasing responsibilities and was the Senior Vice President, Advanced Therapies North America before joining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.

Sarah has a B.S. in Biochemistry from Loyola Marymount University.


Jianqing Bennett
Senior Vice President
High Growth Markets

Jianqing joined Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as senior vice president for high-growth markets in 2017. Previously, she was president of Carestream Health's medical digital business, where she led a 3,500-person organization in more than 40 countries, with three global research and development centers and manufacturing facilities in Israel, China and the United States.

She has an MBA from the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business in Iowa City, Iowa, and a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Fudan University Shanghai Medical College in Shanghai, China.


Bernadette Duffy
Vice President
Global Service, DBS & Project Management

Bernadette (Bernie) has a decade of significant DBS experience, starting with her roles in Tektronix (now a part of Fortive). At Tektronix, she led commercial and service teams; and at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Bernie has established a data-driven culture of accountability in global service by incorporating DBS tools into daily work. Her Project Management experience spans several critical projects, including her support of the Cepheid integration.

Bernie holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Kevin Street College, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Griffith College, and Master of Business Administration from University College Dublin.


Mickey Blanks
Vice President
Human Resources Diagnostics Platform

Mickey started with Beckman Coulter in Brea, California in 2017. Before joining Beckman Coulter, Mickey was the Vice President of Human Resources for commercial and global supply chain at the Mosaic Company and has held HR positions of increasing responsibilities in various organizations, including IMI Cornelius, American Standard Brands and Unilever.

Mickey has a BA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Kean University, an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.


Noreen Galvin
Senior Vice President
Quality & Regulatory Affairs

Noreen Galvin is senior vice president, quality and regulatory affairs for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. Noreen joined Beckman Coulter in 1995 and has held leadership roles in various functions including R & D, European commercial operations, service, strategic marketing, product management, technical support and QRA.

Noreen holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and biochemistry and a Ph.D. in microbiology, both from University College Dublin, Ireland.


Vibeke Holst-Andersen
Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Vibeke joined Beckman in June 2019 after more than six years as Radiometer VP Legal and General Counsel. She has also been the Diagnostics Platform Regional Counsel, Europe for three years and the Danaher Russia Counsel for four years. Vibeke started her career with 8 years in private practice in Copenhagen, mainly focusing on litigation. Later she became in-house counsel and has experience as a GC in multi-national companies, among others within the diagnostic industry.

Vibeke is licensed to practice law in Denmark.


Marianne Ovesen
Senior Vice President Global Operations

Marianne joined Beckman COulter as senior vice president of global operations in 2019. Previously, Marianne served as Vice President of Operations with Radiometer. She joined Radioemeter in 2008 as QA Manager and progressed to Director of QA before taking on the Operations role.

Marianne holds a Masters degree in Food Science from the University of Copenhagen.


Mark Kuhn
Senior Vice President and Group CFO
Diagnostics Platform

Mark rejoined Danaher/Cepheid on Jan 10, 2017 after taking some time off in 2012 and spent two years transitioning Cepheid into Danaher as CFO. In January of 2019, Mark moved to Brea in the DX Platform role and has since taken on daily duties at Beckman Dx as CFO. Prior to 2012, Mark worked for numerous Danaher/Fortive companies in a variety of Finance and Operations roles including Fluke, Fluke Networks, Videojet, Danaher Controls, Motion Group and Dental Group. He originally joined Danaher in the Corporate office in February 1991.
